  • Indie Yarn Club is delighted to post worldwide, and postage costs are automatically calculated at checkout based on the weight of your parcel and your country of delivery.

  • All orders valued over £20 will be sent via a tracked service for added peace of mind.

  • If you place multiple orders in quick succession, Katy always endeavours to combine postage where possible; and refund you the difference.

  • The price of Indie Yarn Club monthly subscription boxes includes UK postage. Additional postage costs will apply to international deliveries (automatically calculated at checkout).

  • Individual 100g skeins are sent, laid flat and unwound, in a “large letter” size flat box. The skein band and info label are included, so you can assemble the skein at home if you wish - or, it’s ready to be caked or balled right away. The reason for this postage method is threefold, and came about as a result of the postage disruption during the Covid-19 pandemic. First, the postage costs are lower for a “large letter” than a “small parcel”, and that saving is passed on to you. Second, the package takes up much less space, making life a little easier for the postal workers who process and deliver it; and also making less of an impact on the environment, as it takes up less space in carbon-emitting delivery vehicles. Third, the “large letter” package can be posted straight through most letterboxes, meaning you don’t have to wait in for a parcel, or collect it from a sorting office; and (as a hang-over from Covid days) it’s contact-free. It’s a win-win.

Hi folks, it’s Katy. I just wanted to say that it’s so important to me that you’re thrilled with your Indie Yarn Club purchase - and if anything has not met your expectations, for any reason, please get in touch, and I’ll do my best to make it right for you. On with the official policy:

Returns are accepted, as long as the item is in new, saleable condition. (The only exceptions to this rule are dyed-to-order items, Indie Yarn Advents, and Yarn Clubs, which are non-refundable.*)

To arrange a return, please let us know within 14 days of receiving your order. Please include the following information:

  • Name

  • Email address used when placing your order

  • Order date

  • Which item(s) you wish to return

  • If there is anything wrong with the item

If you need to return something, please ensure it arrives back to us within 21 days of you receiving it. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for the cost of both the original postage, and the return postage, including any customs charges*. If the returns parcel which you have posted is lost in transit, it would be your responsibility to follow up with your postage provider and make a claim. I recommend using a tracked & signed postage service to make sure everything arrives safely.
