A modern makers’ collective.
Daughters of Industry is a creative collective founded by a group of talented local artisans in Folkestone, UK. The group is dedicated to showcasing the work of independent artists and makers, and fostering a community of creatives in the area.
The Daughters of Industry have been involved in various local events and markets, including pop-up shops on Folkestone's old high street, the Folkestone Harbour Arm Christmas Market, and local creative quarter and Etsy Kent markets.
The collective includes a small but diverse range of artisans, each with their own unique style and expertise. From feminist art and apparel, to hand-finished ceramics and zero-waste jewellery, to eccentric collage art, to hand-dyed yarn, there is something for everyone in the Daughters of Industry collective.
